Daily Objectives #3 (September 15, 2005) Dr. Sanders
By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:
v Describe the
mathematical concepts involved in the ground water flow equations, as
outlined by the textbook in Chapter 1.
v Describe and apply the principles involved in the concepts of hydraulic conductivity, permeability, hydraulic head, Darcy’s law, porosity, effective porosity, specific discharge, flow velocity, specific retention, and specific yield.
v Determine what material you will
prepare for next week.
