PREDICTING PEAK RUNOFF RATE
Demonstrate how to use the Kirpich equation to
find time of concentration.
Demonstrate how to use the Rational Method to
find peak flow for a storm.
Define the following terms:
discharge, time of concentration, hydraulic length.
Solve Problems 5.4, 5.6, 5.7 5.8, and 5.9 at
the end of Chapter 5.
Demonstrate how to use the USGS regression
equations for ungaged streams in Illinois. (To
