Due Thursday, March 12, 2009.   Homework #4: Hydrogeologic cross sections.
Due Tuesday, March 31, 2009.
Homework #5: Geology and part of conceptual model:
  1)

2)
Write a one-page description of the geology of the study area.  (Refer to your cross section, and examine cross sections of other students in class today to get a more full, 3-D picture of the system.)
Write a 2-3 paragraph description of the conceptual model.  At this point, it should include a description of the hydrostratigraphy and the boundaries to the flow system (we will add the other components next time).

Due Thursday, April 9, 2009         Homework #6: Conceptual model, continued:

  1)

2)
Continuing your description of the conceptual model, write a paragraph on stresses to the aquifer in the study area.
Write a description of each of the variables you input into the model.  These are the items you included under "Overlays"--top elevation, conductivity, porosity, and so on.  Explain what values you chose, and why you chose them.  Cite sources if relevant!

Due Tuesday, April 21, 2009    Modeling project.  See details on the Daily Objectives page for April 14.

Due Tuesday, May 5, at 6:00 pm.  Capstone project paper.  Using the outline/format given in the Plumebusters module, write a report on the Plumebusters contamination scenario and your recommendations for remediating the site.
