  • Given information about the properties of a particular contaminant and hydrogeologic information about a site, devise a "site characterization" plan.  (We will use Plume Busters to accomplish this objective.)

Today's Agenda:


v Ground Water Contamination and Remediation

(Review) Given hydraulic conductivity, effective porosity, and a ground water level map, explain how to determine the time it will take for a contaminant to move from one point to another point.

Using Plume Busters, investigate the project hydrogeologic setting and delineate the plume of contamination.
