  1-2 mineral kit boxes
1 rock kit box
2 mineral keys (1 yellow, 1 blue)
1 rock key (white)
2-3 steel files
2-3 acid bottles
2-3 paper towels
Scratch plate
Streak plate
 
     Hand lens

 


Within your group, you must assign the following positions:

Position Title Responsibilities
Recorder Makes sure answers are written completely and on the test paper.
Checker Checks to see that all answers are complete, answers are written in the correct place, sample numbers match question numbers, maps are the correct ones, and paper gets handed in with all pages in correct order.
Coordinator

Makes sure the work is completed.  Retrieves and returns samples/maps. 

Monitor Watches the time, makes sure everyone participates.  (In group of 3, combine this task with Coordinator.)

Groups will start at different points:  Questions 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12.
