List the names of three of your classmates.
w Explain the three major tools earth scientists
use to explore the world: maps, samples, and landforms.

Examine and describe the map provided to you in
class. List the features that should appear on any map, regardless of its
type.
w
Examine maps that show landforms to see
different strategies for illustrating topography (raised-relief, topographic,
color-coded).
w
Examine rock samples and
classify them using a scheme of your own devising.
w
Find the Homework
