Describe what is expected of you
and your team in the Balancing Act group presentation next week.

Explain how your group
presentation will be graded.

REVIEW: Demonstrate how to
find area of a watershed using a map and map scale.
w
Demonstrate how to calculate the
volume of annual precipitation in the watershed area using data from
a NOAA precipitation gage.
w
Demonstrate how to calculate the
annual streamflow from a watershed using data from a USGS stream
gage.
w
Explain the role of evapotranspiration in
the water budget.
w
Explain the role of Lake Michigan
diversion and wastewater treatment in the water budget.
w
Demonstrate that you can balance a water
budget.
