DAILY OBJECTIVES: October 29, 2010

Today we will be going to Lake Michigan. It is going to be windy
and chilly, so dress warmly! Some students will need to wear
waders, and if you choose to do so, be ready to take your shoes off at
the lake. Dry socks and a hand towel might be helpful!
By the end of today's
class, you should be able to do the following:

Review: Explain what the term discharge
means as it applies to stream flow, state the formula for
discharge in terms of velocity and cross-sectional
w
Write a list what you must bring to next week's class, and a description
of how you should be dressed for class. |
