degree (Guest presenter: Mr. Bob Binkowski, Academic
Advising Office).

Complete this week's
QUIZ on the readings/assignment
due today.

Explain what the USEPA's Drinking
Water Standards (DWS) are, and what the difference is between a
Primary and Secondary DWS.
w
Explain what the acronym MCL
means as applied to drinking water standards.
w
Measure water quality lab parameters
chloride and fluoride, and interpret their meaning.
w
Tell how your lab measurements of your
samples from Gompers Park, the North Branch of the Chicago River, and
the North Shore Channel compare to the MCLs.
w
List the requirements of this week's
homework assignment.
w
Write a list what you must bring to next week's class, and a description
of how you should be dressed for class. |
