By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:


w Explain to a family member how a colorimeter works.

Using a colorimeter, conduct laboratory analyses of the samples you took last week.

Draw a diagram explaining how a hand level, stadia rod, and measuring tape can be used to determine the vertical and horizontal distance between two points, and the slope of a hill.

w
Demonstrate that you can work with a team to use a hand level, measuring tape, and stadia rod to determine the vertical and horizontal distance between two points, and the slope of a hill.

w Write a list what you must bring to next week's class, and a description of how you should be dressed for class.
