Reminder: Bring an NEIU catalog with you to class! They are free at the Academic Advising Office (D-130).

By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:

w Construct an Academic Plan for yourself.

w Demonstrate that you can use the NEIU catalog to find requirements for graduation and requirements for a specific major.

w Explain the term course prerequisite, and demonstrate that you can determine the prerequisites for any given course.

w Using a USGS topographic map, locate various landforms, measure distances, and determine directions.
