Reminder: Assignment #4 is due today, and Assignment #3 is due Thursday!

By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:

w Review and revisit: Keep a scientific record that describes a geologic landform.

w List the three main types of rocks, and for each, describe the processes that lead to their formation.

w Describe characteristics exhibited by different kinds of rocks, and tell how their characteristics relate to how they were formed.

w Take a set of notes that integrates material from a reading assignment with material from class.
