By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:
w Review: After examining a
topographic quadrangle, identify the areas of highest elevation.
w Review: Transfer the
topographic information from the quad maps to a worksheet, and identify any
patterns you observe.
w Describe the
composition and sorting of sediment found in major landforms in the Chicago area, and
explain the processes that led to their deposition.
w Explain how and why
glaciers weather, erode, transport, and deposit Earth material.
