By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:

w Locate a specific feature on each of three different maps:     

           - street map               - topographic map               - map of surficial geology.

w From each map, extract information about the feature based on what the map illustrates.

w Demonstrate that you understand the differences in scale of the three maps.

w Correlate the information you gather from each map, putting it together to create a single interpretation of the geologic feature.
