w List effective
strategies for successful exam preparation and test-taking.
ROCK WALL
w View the slide show describing the
rock wall
experience we will have next week.
w In groups, figure out a communication plan to make it possible for you to
complete Homework #4.
THURSDAY'S FIELD TRIP
w Get ready for our
field trip to
Bohemian National Cemetery, this Thursday! We
will meet at the cemetery, not in the classroom! Go
in the main cemetery gate, on Pulaski Road, north of Foster Avenue,
and look for the class near the small parking lot. If the lot is full, we
will direct you to a different spot.
w To prepare for the
field trip, be able to recognize the typical characteristics of igneous,
sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks.
w Identify and explain
the effects of weathering processes (physical weathering
and chemical weathering) on rocks.
