w REVIEW: Log into
www.delicious.com , create, tag, and annotate an entry, which you will do in
the Individual Geologic Research assignment.
w REVIEW: Explain what is meant by stream gradient.
w REVIEW: Measure a stream gradient using topographic maps.
w REVIEW: Explain the story of the reversal of the Chicago
River. On a map, point out the length that was reversed and explain the
reasoning and the method used.
w Compiling data from the entire class, explain the
patterns among stream gradients found in this part of Illinois.
w Explain the term intermorainal and
point out intermorainal areas on the p. 5 ISGS map and the Willman map.
w
Describe the relationship between northeastern Illinois' rivers and major
streams and the intermorainal areas.
w
Complete the FYE assessment survey.
