w Measure a stream gradient using topographic maps.
w Compiling data from the entire class, explain the
patterns among stream gradients found in this part of Illinois.
w Explain the story of the reversal of the Chicago
River. On a map, point out the length that was reversed and explain the
reasoning and the method used.
