By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:
w Revisit "the worm":
show how you can pinpoint it accurately on the Blue Island quadrangle, and
re-draw the N-S and E-W profiles across it.
w Describe the "grid
drawing" method of creating a picture (see
an example here) and explain how we are using it in this class.
w Use the topographic
map index found on the Willman map.
