Meet at the cemetery today, not in the classroom!
By the end of today's class, you should be able to do the following:
w Participate in our ield trip to
Bohemian National Cemetery! To
get there, go in the main cemetery gate, on Pulaski Road, north of Foster Avenue,
and look for the class near the small parking lot. If the lot is full, we
will direct you to a different spot. Drive slowly and carefully.
Do not leave the paved surface of the roadway.
w Recognize the characteristics of igneous,
sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks.
w Identify and explain
the effects of weathering processes (physical weathering
and chemical weathering) on rocks.
