3 cans or boxes of food donated to the library will erase a $5 fine. All food collected will be donated to Greater Chicago Food Depository. Only good for late fees on returned books. Lost items not covered.

NEIU Gives Back –
$40 will sponsor a Thanksgiving Dinner for a local family that may not be able to afford a nice meal. Money may be turned into Student Activities office or at tables no later than Wed. Nov 16th at noon. Sponsors will be able to help pack the food on Fri. Nov. 18th and will deliver to their family on Sat. Nov. 19th between
10 am – noon.

Every night A Just Harvest feeds almost 200 people dinner. Volunteers will help with dinner service and clean up. Must commit for entire time. Space is limited. Only 12 spots are left.

Sleep Out
10:00 pm – 5:00 am • In front of PE Complex
According to a 2006 study approximately 16,000 people are homeless on a given night in Chicago without access to shelter. Spend an evening sleeping outside on NEIU campus to raise personal awareness of what these people experience on a daily basis. Those participating are asked to seek people to sponsor them to spend night outside. All monies raised will be donated to Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.
