Advancing Leadership Recognition Program

What is ALRP?

The Advancing Leadership Recognition Program is a progressive leadership program offered by the LEAD program through the Student Activities Office.  It is custom designed to equip you with proven leadership skills you will need to succeed personally and professionally.  By completing a combination of workshops, engagement activities, community service opportunities and personal reflections, you will work your way through a three tier program based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development.

Why should I join?

As an ALRP participant, you will meet other aspiring leaders and learn from skilled NEIU faculty and staff, as well as from community and business leaders.  By participating in unforgettable leadership and service experiences, you will develop the skills necessary to move your career forward and to become an influential team member and team leader.

What if I don’t have time?

This program is designed for the busy NEIU commuter student. You are able to apply other leadership opportunities towards this program.  You go at your own pace and advance through each tier in your own time. There is no time limit to complete this program.  You can even continue participating after you graduate.
