Seamless Fit is an important part of the Real Life Issues approach. It brings together three key elements:
- Infusing selected real life issues consistent with class objectives and state and national learning standards,
- Promoting features of sound instructional design including active learning methodologies, responsiveness to students' diversity and the real life issues they face, and
- Familiarizing oneself with the school referral process including to whom the teacher may send students and families when needed.
