Located within Academic Affairs and reporting to the Provost, the Office of Institutional Studies and Planning (ISP) is the university office most identified with the dissemination of institutional data pertaining to students, faculty, and academic programs. Our office develops, standardizes and analyzes key university data in support of institutional planning, policymaking and external compliance. The office strives to provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive information to both internal and external constituencies. As the official data source for the university, ISP has primary responsibility for submitting mandated reports to various state and federal agencies, particularly to the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Education.
