Stephen Dundis
Stephen Dundis (Ph.D., University of Iowa).is Chair of Educational Leadership and Development department. Dr. Dundis' interests focus on learner and guidance-based
differences in the processing of computer-assisted instruction, case and
apprenticeship-based approaches to instruction, and legal issues within
instructional design and HRD. This latter interest flows from
Dr. Dundis' "other life" as an attorney. He was formerly an Assistant Attorney
General for the State of Iowa before obtaining his Ph.D.in Instructional
Design. Over his career Dr. Dundis has consulted with
a number of corporations and organizations and has made presentations nationally
on instructional design topics. Dr. Dundis is affiliated with
numerous associations including the American Society of Training and Development,
the International Society for Performance Improvement and and the Academy
of Human Resource Development.
