TOM HOFF. is a native of Chicago, and holds a B.A. and M.A. from NEIU. He is the author of U.S. Doughboy 1916-1919 and a contributing author to War On The Western Front. He is currently working on another book about the United States’ military role in the First World War as well as a volume on the United States Army during the War of 1812. One of his main interests is the development of Living History programs and he has worked on several of these endeavors in National Park Service programs at Fort McHenry, Baltimore, and the Jean Lafitte National Park, New Orleans as well as other places. He was also involved in the History Channel’s production First Invasion, a documentary about the War of 1812.
