Submitting assignments...

During the course of the semester, various assignments will be required to be submitted to Dr. Moreno via electronic submission. Electronic submission refers to the student submitting their assignment via NEIU Blackboard’s Assignment feature. There are several advantages to electronic submission:

Convenience.

Students will be able to submit assignments at their convenience. As soon as students complete their assignment, they are able to upload their assignment via Blackboard and bypass producing a hard copy.

Expedition.

Electronic submission provides the opportunity to expedite scoring, recording of grades, and allows students the ability to see their grade as soon as the professor records the assignment.

Lead by Example.

Students enrolled in NEIU teacher programs are expected to be leaders in their field all across the Chicago area. With instructional technology increasingly becoming the standard practice in the today’s classrooms, those current and future teachers will be able to enter the field with the experience of comfortably using technological practices.

Less means less.

Electronic submission means less paper and ink. As well, less printing means less money spent on ink, paper, and time.
