As an EFL teacher, I spent six years in Tunisia in North Africa where I taught at the University of Tunis, four years in the State of Qatar in the Arabian Gulf where I taught in public high and elementary schools and for the British Council and three years in the Sultanate of Oman, also in the Arabian Gulf, where I taught for the Royal Guard. I taught ESL for nine years in the Chicago area where I have taught at the college level and in the workplace. I am currently developing an FYE course, Teaching English in Chicago.
