Some of my adventures.....

I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1961. After living on the East Side for nine years, my mother and I moved 30 minutes north into the "country" - concrete and tall buildings were replaced by cornfields and cottage homes. After graduating from Germantown high school, I attended junior college in Menasha Wisconsin, then finished my degree in Physical Education at the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse.

After my undergraduate college adventures my professional experiences include working as a fitness and aquatics director at a YMCA, working with "challenged-youth" in a wilderness program, directing two challenge-course programs and teaching physical education at an elementary/middle school in Dallas, Texas - where I met my wonderful wife Susana (she was not my wife when I met her, but it all worked out).

Some of my other adventures include traveling to more than a dozen countries, writing over a dozen books, and climbed over a dozen mountains. I love chocolate and walking breezy beaches with Susana. I also love to cook, sleep and watch movies. And, some day, I want to travel to Hawaii and New Zealand.
