Classes taught in English about various langauge and cultural communites are listed under WLC rahter than the specific langauge subject listing. These classes meet the State of Illinois Improving Human Relations graduation requirement.
Course listings with a second schedule line "Class TBA Ronald Williams Library 449 Lab" involve using the Internet and/or a personal computer to complete mulitmedia langauge exercises outside of the normal meeting times for homework. These assignemnts can be done anytime using any computer with speakers or headphones and a microphone, or by visiting the Langauge Learning Lab on the 4th floor of the Ronald Williams Library during normal open hours. During the first few weeks of the semester, students will be taken to the lab by their instructor for a lab orientation session to find out more about equipment, materials and services the lab has to offer.
