The Writing Lab is the place to learn about the written portion of the English Competency Exam (ECE). We can help you prepare for the exam in the following ways:
• We offer free, one-hour workshops every semester on ECE preparation.
• Once you have attended a workshop, we invite you to make an appointment and come in for tutoring.
• View our ECE handout ,which covers some basic information about the exam.
• We offer consultations with a tutor if you did not pass the ECE.
• We can refer you to the Assessment and Testing website for the current semester's ECE test dates.
