During the Spring semester of 2006, the Writing Lab piloted a series of workshops focusing on various areas of writing. When a student who is working on a paper comes to the Writing Lab, there is not always time to address all the areas that she or he might need to work on. Therefore, these workshops were designed to provide students with yet another opportunity to fine-tune their writing skills.

We offer a series of writing workshops during the academic year. Highlights of these workshops include:

• The workshops are free and open to everyone.



• There is no need to pre-register for the workshops.



• Each workshop is on a different topic.



• Verification of attendance can be provided by the workshop presenters.
