The Writing Lab staff makes every effort to see each student who is seeking our services. However, our staff resources are limited and student demand is high, so please make every effort to keep your appointment and arrive on time. Students can make up to two appointments a week. Please note the following policies:

• Arrival Time: All appointments begin promptly on the hour. In order to best utilize your time with your tutor, please arrive a few minutes early to check in.



• No-show Policy: If you fail to show up for an appointment twice in one semester without calling, rescheduling or canceling before the day of the appointment then you may be seen only on a walk-in basis.



• Late Policy: If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be given to a walk-in student, or you may be asked to reschedule the appointment.



• Cancellations: If you must cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel on the day of your appointment twice in the semester, you will lose appointment privileges for that semester, and you may be seen on a walk-in basis only.



• Walk-in Appointments: Walk-in appointments may sometimes be available at 10 minutes past the hour. However, it is always better to make an appointment ahead of time to insure availability of a tutor.
