Here's a sample browser start page based upon the article by Woody Leonhard and Peter Deegan for the April 1999 issue of PC Computing magazine. You're welcome to take this page and edit it to suit your needs using any web page editor.  We've made the page all text with a minimum of decoration to increase the speed of loading. The changing web links (when you hover the mouse over them) and automatic refresh tips from the magazine are also demonstrated in the HTML for this page. This page uses small size text for the links so they will appear in a confined space (ie if you make the page part of a Windows 98 Active Desktop).

Add more links -- feel free to add your own favorite links to this collection, change 'The Regulars' to the sites you visit the most, add new sections, change the order to put your preferred ones at the top.  We've not tried to make a definitive links list, instead the idea is to take this base and make a page that suits you.

Some links may require free registration when you first use them (eg The New York Times, The Times of London), in other cases you'll want to change the generic link we've given to a personalized page when it's created (eg My Excite).  All the links were correct at the time of writing, but the Internet shifts all the time and we can't guarantee that the links are still valid into the future.
