In September, 2004 a survey of Northeastern faculty Blackboard users was conducted by the Center for Teaching and Learning. An 18-item questionnaire was developed by Paul Heydenburg, Jane Peller, Edmund Hansen. Angeles Eames, and Brad Baker. All faculty who had requested Blackboard courses in the previous two years were sent the questionnaire. Approximately 30% of users responded to the survey. Selected faculty were chosen to participate in small focus groups moderated by Paul Heydenburg and Jane Peller.
