MY NEW WEB PAGE

Welcome to my web page. My class times Summer 1A are from 8 - 10:20 MWF and 6-9:25 WF; my office hours are immediately after the morning classes and just before the evening ones, but you're likely to find me on campus five days a week, with my short day (leave at 2:45) on Tuesday.

I hope that you're using Internet Explorer, because I haven't even begun to test this page with other browsers. I'm experimenting with java, java script, .cgi, cascading style sheets and Dreamweaver Templates, so please forgive me if something isn't working properly!

In the Spring of 2004 I had a group of students who were doing some new things with computer maps and web pages, and I'd like to thank them -- particulary Cameron Rex, Greg Rentschler, and Jorge Balanzar. They inspired me to improve my skills and my site.

The counter, which uses .cgi, is accurate but more than 19,000 of those hits were from my old page, which I put up in 1996 (I added the counter Jan. 1, 2000). Most of those hits are mine, but I have heard that my links page, which is annotated, is useful to bookmark. Under the drop-down "Links," above, you'll find the categories of bookmarks which I have found useful. You might want to try this page, with frames, which is a nice way to navigate my links -- I use that framed version which I call "home."

You'll see a Personal Page link on the right. If I've given you the password, you're welcome to take a look at that page, which I'll try to update if traffic requires.

The Featured Link is a random image which I hope to have many of in the future. For now it jumps around between 8 which I have prepared. These are just some useful sites, mainly relating to NEIU or G&ES.
