Welcome to the Northeastern Illinois University English Department, which serves a wide variety of constituencies on campus. Our basic composition offerings are required by virtually every student at the University; at higher levels, we serve students pursuing liberal arts English and secondary education majors, students minoring in English, and graduate students pursuing a M.A. degree in English literature or composition.

Majors. This is a ONE-TIME purchase that
will last your entire career at NEIU. (The cost is
equivalent to one-half of one textbook in one Physics or
Accounting course).

FOR NEW STUDENTS IN THE GRADUATE LITERATURE TRACK: Students accepted for Fall 2007 or thereafter: The Literature Core Course Requirements have changed, effective for all students accepted for Fall 2007 or later.
