To insure accessibility and choices, Northeastern Illinois University has begun to offer courses through the interactive video network system. This two-way interactive system allows many courses to be offered between several campuses/sites simultaneously, making them convenient choices for students who wish to take courses near their home or workplace.

These courses are live face-to-face classes taught at two or more locations at the same time using state-of-the-art two-way video and audio technology. Students and their professor speak with each other as though they were in the same classroom. Northeastern Illinois University participates in the Illinois Virtual Campus (IVC), a partnership of Illinois colleges and universities designed to provide    students with easy access to the    online courses and programs    available and to provide support    services for online learners    throughout the state.
