Golden Eagle Award [back to top]
The Golden Eagle Award is given to an individual student who has shown exceptional leadership skills, who has maintained a balance between academics and involvement activities and who has helped transfer leadership skills to other fellow students.
Legacy Award [back to top]
The Legacy Award is given to a senior who has been active in student leadership for three years and has made a significant impact on the success of the student organization, has helped foster new leaders and has made a considerable significance at NEIU.
Pantheon Award [back to top]
The Pantheon Award is given to a Greek member who has demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, service, brotherhood/sisterhood and student involvement.
Wilson Media Award [back to top]
The Wilson Media Award is given to an individual whose participation in a media organization has contributed to the success, leadership, service and quality of the organization. The Wilson Media Award is named after Michael Wilson, Media Consultant to the NEIU media organizations for over 20 years.
Golden Spirit Award [back to top]
The Golden Spirit Award is given to an individual whose participation in service activities in a campus and/or community setting demonstrates a high level of leadership, dedication and selfless commitment to others.
Indelible Mark Award [back to top]
The Indelible Mark Award is given to a student organization advisor who has helped empower student members, actively participated in organization events, demonstrated enthusiasm and support for the group and who has helped the group successfully transition between membership cycles.
Blue and Gold Award [back to top]
The Blue and Gold Award is given to the student organization who has displayed outstanding leadership skills through operating as an effective team, collaborating events with other student groups, accomplishing significant achievements and helping improve or enhance the NEIU community.
NRichment Award [back to top]
The NRichment Award is given to a student organization which has developed and successfully executed an outstanding program, has introduced new ideas and activities, engaged fellow students and has helped enhance the learning environment.
Soaring Eagle Award [back to top]
The Soaring Eagle Award is given to the student organization which has displayed outstanding service in volunteer activities in campus and/or in the community that displays a significant level of time, effort, and creativity.
Trailblazer Award [back to top]
The Trailblazer Award is given to a new student organization which has laid a strong foundation for continued growth, displayed unique recruitment efforts, and has taken an initiative approach to make the organization visible. Newly developed or reactivated organizations are eligible.
Bridge Builder Award [back to top]
The Bridge Builder Award is given to the student organization which has increased the campus or community’s awareness of global, social, diversity or multicultural issues through programming and empowering students to take action.
Mount Olympus Award [back to top]
The Mount Olympus Award is given to the Greek Chapter who has excelled in community service, academics, programming, involvement, interfraternal relations and membership recruitment and retention.
