The Office of Career Services maintains credential files for all Northeastern Illinois University students and alumni seeking preschool through grade 12 teacher, counselor, and educational administrator positions in schools. Credential files are mailed to prospective employers at the request of the student or alumnus. There is a minimal fee for this service, but the first 5 mailings are free if requested within a year after graduation. Professors and Supervisors may fill out the "Reference Form" online. The form needs to be printed out, signed, and sent to the Office of Career Services. Also required for this service, is a Reference Authorization List. Hard copies of both these forms can be obtained from the Office of Career Services.
