The Internet
should be considered an additional resource for the job searcher
and not a replacement for any of the traditional methods,
which include networking, attending job and career fairs,
responding to positions listed with Northeastern's Office of Career Services, following recommendations made by faculty members,
responding to advertisements in newspapers, researching trade
journals or other publications, and/or utilizing personnel/temporary
agencies.
The following
list of web sites is far from inclusive and is changing every
day. However, many of the more popular and some career specific
job sites have been included to assist you in your job search.
