Important Reminders

Remember to apply for....

Optional Practical Training(OPT) 60-90 days before the end of your last semester. Applications received by the USCIS after the "Program end date" - the last day of the term in which you're registered for your final required classes-will be denied.
OPT Instructions

Curricular Practical Training(CPT) 30 business days before the end of the term preceding the semester in which you wish to engage in CPT.
CPT MUST BE Credit bearing.

Less than full-time enrollment before your last semester; the Request for less than Full-time enrollment form is availabe by clicking here or in the OIP

For your advisor's signature AT LEAST 5 BUSINESS DAYS before you plan to travel outside the U.S.A. Don't forget to bring your I-20 to the Office Of International Programs
