Upcoming Faculty-led International Study Programs

Proposed Spring/Summer 2008 Course-related International Study Tours

NEIU faculty-led international study tours range in length from 9 days to 4 weeks in the fall, spring and summer terms. Normally, students enrolled in the required course(s) attend class during the term and travel with their professor, a faculty or staff tour co-leader and classmates. The NEIU study tour takes students to international locations related to the topic of the course in which they are enrolled. Frequently, the university is able to provide some financial assistance to students who wish to engage in these opportunities. These short-term study tours make it possible for students who are working and/or who have family obligations to participate in international opportunities.

NOTE:  As stated below, all tour costs are estimates only and subject to change. Tuition and fees for required course(s) not included. Study tours and itineraries are also subject to change. The $500 application fee/deposit is non-refundable, unless applicant is not accepted or study tour is canceled.
