Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) sponsors a variety of faculty-led international study programs
in which a short-term (1-3 weeks) international study trip to one or
more locations is an integral part of an NEIU course. These programs are very affordable and less time-consuming for
students with demanding jobs or family responsibilities. Graduate and undergraduate students at Northeastern have studied
and traveled
to Belize, China, Cuba, England, Fiji, India, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand and to various European
cities such as Amsterdam, Brussels, Munich, Paris, Prague and Vienna. Students who have taken part in an international
study trip have this experience noted on their transcripts.
