Teach Here

The department is proud to allow people working in the field to offer courses at Northeastern Illinois University. This enrichens and diversifies course offerings, establishes valuable connections for internships and employment, and offers professionals the opportunity to build their credentials and gain teaching experience.

Part-time instructors generally teach one evening a week for a 15-week course.

Necessary credentials are a master's degree or Ph.D., and expertise in an area relevant to geography and/or enironmental studies . Ideally, the course is in the department's master course list. If you feel a course you can offer is relevant to the discipline but yet is not in the department's course listings, please contact the chairperson with your idea.
