The Chicago Teachers’ Center’s is a leader in developing collaborative relationships between schools, universities, businesses and arts and community-based organizations. CTC works with partner organizations to identify and prioritize needs, and then design a plan of action.
Funders
CTC works with its partners to leverage funds from multiple sources to achieve shared goals in communities, thereby increasing the benefit to students, parents and teachers. CTC’s work with schools is funded by State of Illinois appropriation, federal, state and private grants, and contracts.
Funders include the U.S. Department of Education, Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Board of Higher Education, Arthur Foundation, Chicago Public Schools, Terra Foundation of American Art, Searle Funds at the Chicago Community Trust, Polk Bros. Foundation, Illinois Arts Council, and the Lay Family Foundation.
