Adventure / Challenge Education

Trained facilitators provide student development activities that nurture positive social interactions and help create a cohesive and safe learning enviornment. Held at your school or at one of our team-building sites throughout the metropolitan Chicagoland area, activities include portable, low and high ropes courses, leadership camps, and empowering alteratives to in-school suspension.

The Chicago Teachers’ Center is one of the few organizations in the Midwest that provides a comprehensive approach to team-building, one which models for schools how intellectual activity can be an integral part of group-focused challenges. CTC is also in the forefront of introducing Motivational Interviewing, which can counter violence and other negative behavior while improving retention.
