MINOR IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

A student may complete a minor in Computer Science by selecting courses totaling at least 18 credit hours from those offered by the Computer Science Department. A recommended minor would include CS-200 Programming I, CS-201 Discrete Structures, CS-207 Programming II, and at least six (6) hours in 300-level courses. The additional course can be 100, 200 or 300-level. No grade lower than a ‘C' will be accepted in the minor. Specific courses should be chosen with the CS department advisor to best enhance the student's major. Transfer students must complete a minimum of nine (9) hours toward the CS minor at Northeastern.

A student should obtain approval for courses from the Department advisor or chairperson before beginning his/her program of study. Deadlines and requirements for filing for graduation are published in the schedule of classes. It is the student's responsibility to complete all requirements and forms by the proper time.
