Brommel-Hanson-Ijams-Hayward Scholarship ($950.00)
Eligibility:
-Junior-level student (60+ hours completed) OR
-Senior-level student (who will not graduate before August 2013)
-Declared major in Communication, Media and Theatre

Brommel-Kramer-Barnitz Scholarship ($950.00)
Eligibility:
-Junior-level student (60+ hours completed) OR
-Senior-level student (who will not graduate before August 2013)

Brommel-Adams-Bell-Jordan Scholarship ($950.00)
Eligibility:
-Senior-level student (90+ hours completed) OR
-Graduate student enrolled in CMT graduate program
-Declared major in Communication, Media and Theatre
-Minimum GPA of 3.0

NOTES:
-If eligible, students can apply for more than one scholarship.
-Eligibility is determined by the hours completed at the time of application (and NOT by the end of this semester).
-Students must be declared majors in Communication, Media and Theatre
-Two scholarships are eligible for seniors (90+ hours) who are NOT graduating before August 2013; one scholarship is available for any senior (90+ completed)

CMT Talent / Special Skills Scholarship
NEIU offers tuition waivers to qualified students. A limited number of these scholarships are available through the Department of Communication, Media, and Theatre. The tuition waiver exempts the recipient from paying all or a portion of the tuition charge, depending on the size of the waiver.

Requirements:
To qualify for consideration, applicants must:
1.Be accepted for admission to Northeastern Illinois University.
2.Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals active in the field of talent or special skills. The recommendations may be submitted by teachers from the student’s high school, NEIU faculty members, faculty members of another college or university the student has attended, or from professionals active in any area of communication, media and/or theatre.
3.Submit a resume detailing experiences in any activity where you practiced skills related to communication, media and/or theatre.
4.Be willing to commit to the hours of participation each semester based on the following formula: For every one credit hour of tuition waiver awarded, nine clock hours of participation in the Department of CMT as a talent scholar are required each semester. Example: If 12 credit hours are waived, then 108 clock hours must be worked/documented.
5.Complete this application submit all application documents to Edie Rubinowitz (FA 232).
Scholarship Renewal:
To qualify for renewal consideration, recipient must:
1.Remain in continuous attendance as a full-time or a part-time student.
2.Actively participate in the designated talent area by completing the required clock hours.
3.Maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
