Seung-Hwan Mun teaches in the area of media studies, such as mass communication theory, media sociology, media law, new media technologies, and research methods. His research areas include media law and policy, media history, global media, and political economy. His recent work has been published in Government Information Quarterly and LBJ Journal of Public Affairs. He also contributed to the Encyclopedia of Television and to the Seoul Broadcasting System.
