Objectives

  1. Create educational, professional, and person development plans that assist African American and Latino students in attaining graduation at NEIU.

  2. Foster a sense of consciousness around Advocacy, Social Enrichment, Cultural Awareness, Academic Success, Leadership Development, Community Engagement.



  1. Work with faculty and students to identify and understand innovative perspectives impacting or affecting communities of color through engagement and research.

  2. Engage in learning that develops a cultural understanding of their identity through a global perspective and impact.

  3. Assist students in developing their skills and resources to navigate within Northeastern and beyond.
